He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie Lemons and Rosie Johnson Lemons; his siblings, Homer, Lloyd, Henry Lemons, AJ Cordell, Otis Lemons, Geneva Jewell, JC Lemons, Murl Matthews, Betty Neagle and Austin Lemons; and his son Darrell Lemons.

He is survived by : his wife Onita Gifford Lemons; his children, Troy Lemons (Donna Kay) of Texarkana, TX, David Lemons (Karen) of Malvern, Yvonne Fuell (Joe) of Prattsville, AR and Donna Linn Hardin (Ronnie) of Donaldson; his daughter-in-law Donna Sue Lemons of Grapevine, AR; and his grandsons, Jared Hardin, Joe Fuell Jr., Valik, Roman, Nikita, Connor, Ivan, Tristan and Collin Lemons. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
