Betty Ann Boone Obituary

Betty Ann Boone, 77, of Lepanto, Arkansas passed away on August 24, 2025 at her home. She was born on March 19, 1948 in Harrisburg, Arkansas to Thomas James and Charlene Floyd Johnson. She was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include; one son: Rodney Boone (Mildred) of Whitton, Arkansas; one daughter: Becky Hugel of Lepanto, Arkansas; four brothers: Billy Ray Johnson of Mexico, Kenneth Johnson of Dell, Arkansas, Randy Johnson of Blytheville, Arkansas, and Scotty Johnson of Armorel, Arkansas; eight sisters: Phyllis Moore of Manila, Arkansas, Mary Lee England of Wilson, Arkansas, Lisa Butterworth of Leachville, Arkansas, Connie Cunningham of Manila, Arkansas, Rhonda West of Burdett, Arkansas, Teresa Humphrey of Manila, Arkansas, Tina Mckaskle of Manila, Arkansas, and Vicky Brooks of Manila, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by; her parents: Thomas James and Charlene Floyd Johnson; her husband: Roy Boone; two sons: Joey Boone and Greg Johnson; three brothers: Mack Johnson, Ricky Johnson, and Thomas James Johnson, Jr.; and one sister: Judy Johnson.

Pallbearers: Grayson Scrivner, Ro Boone, Joey Boone, Jeff Thompson, Kenneth Johnson, and Kenny Johnson.

Funeral services will be held on August 27, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Chris Oaks and Bro. James England officiating. Burial will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday at Faith Funeral Service Chapel from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
