David Reed Tyler Obituary
David Reed Tyler, age 64, of Lepanto, Arkansas passed away on June 23, 026 at his home. He was born on January 16, 1962 in Lepanto, Arkansas to Everett and Mary (Brown) Tyler. David was of the Baptist faith. He dedicated 25 years to the Lepanto Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter and also served his community as an EMT. He loved hunting, with turkey hunting being his favorite. Most of all, David treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren and created many cherished memories with them.
Survivors include; one daughter: Kim Hayes (Kevin) of Lepanto, Arkansas; one sister: Angela McKinness (Elmo) of Lepanto, Arkansas; two grandchildren: Annamarie Hayes and Mark David Hayes; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by; his wife: Tammy Tyler; parents: Everett and Mary (Brown) Tyler; eight siblings: Larry "Buddy" Tyler, Donald "Pete" Tyler, Gary "Tiny" Tyler, James Tyler, Charlie Tyler, Shirley Tyler, Mary Gibbs, Janie Tyler; and three nephews: Jonathan Tyler, Brian Tyler, Brent McKinness.
Those honoring as pallbearers will be Glenn Hobbs, Bobby Carey, Earnie Hill, Daniel Vaughn, Nathan Mahan, and Damon Tyler.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 12:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Lepanto, Arkansas with Bro. R.J. Platz officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 11:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Potters Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
