He is survived by: his children, Richard Eldon Griggs, Jr. of Etowah, Greg Palmer (Shyann), Kristen Griggs (Clemente) of Jonesboro and Jessica Griggs (Omar) of Trumann; his siblings, Elvertt Leon Griggs of Harrisburg, Ernest "Shorty" Griggs of Caraway, Stanley Griggs of West Ridge, Michael Griggs (Robin) of Leachville and Shelby Jean Griggs Pitout (Martin) of Trumann; and his grandchildren, Juan, Carlos, Manuel, Axel, Mateo, Natalie, Fernando and Jazmin.
