He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, J. E., Louise Crawford, Martha Simmons, Eugene Dawson, Dale, Katherine Mason and Edward Bud Fires; and his great-great-grandparents, James and Faye Lucas.
He is survived by: his parents, Casey Diane Simmons Dawson of Lepanto and James Dawson; his brothers, Granger Allen Dawson and Colt James Dawson of Lepanto; his grandparents, David, Michelle Simmons of Lepanto, Melissa Dawson of Johnston City, Jaelu, John Davis of Jacksonville, Charlie, Holly Dawson of Marked Tree, Eric and Denise McGhee of Lepanto; his great-grandparents, Clyde Simmons of Lepanto, Richard, Ruth Smith of Heafer, Dorothy Fires of Lepanto, Cathy, Robbie Robinson of West Plains, J. W., Ivaleen McGhee of Lepanto, Larry and Lisa Stone of Marked Tree; his aunts, Samantha Fugate (Jax) of Carbondale, Tailyn Arnold (Joe) of Lodi and Emily Davis of Searcy; and his uncle Cody Davis of Searcy. He is also survived by several great aunts, great uncles, a host of cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Delancey Funeral Home (200 Miles St, Lepanto, AR 72354). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
