He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden H. Burge and Margaret Deakins Burge; and his brother-in-law Bennie Ryburn Jr.. He is survived by: his son Jack Alden Burge II (Jay); his grandchildren, Jack Alden Burge III and Caroline Ellen Burge; his siblings, Dr. Walworth Burge (Karen) and Marion Burge Ryburn; his niece Margaret Anne Ryburn; his nephews, Brooks and Wesley Burge; his great-nephew Cameron Burge; his cousins, Mitzie Hale, Rick Reddy and Tracy Thompson; his friend Duff Burton; and his wife Trudy.
