He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Luther Brooks Jones and Lillie Estelle White Jones; his brother Charles Brooks Jones; and his half-siblings, Marshall Eugene Jones and Bernice Jones Doss.
He is survived by: his wife Helen "Kitty" Jones of Lexa; his children, Jay Jones (Karyn) of Monticello, Jill Plumley (Curtis) of Helena and Danny Jones of Lexa; his siblings, Merle Jameson of Searcy, Glynn Jones of Marianna and J. B. "Brevard" Jones of Lexa; and his son Dr. Kelly Jones (Joan) of Monticello. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
