She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Miller and Mary Miller (Nix); her husband Bill Boyce Helm Jr.; her siblings, B. F. Miller, Hoss Miller, Nete Onstott, Sis Turner, Clara Rector, Hazel Walker, Evelyn Simpson, Opal Parker and Maxine Smith; her children-in-law, Shirley Helm and Richard Layman; and her granddaughter Rebecca Layman Vancuren.

She is survived by: her children, Lina Helm (Elaine), Wylene Layman (Dan Hudspeth), Neil Helm (Jean), Bill Helm (Dianna), Mary Anne Cantrell (Lonnie) and Nancy Wall (John); and her grandchildren, Leigh Anne Helm, Shelley Guglielmetti, Alisha Hammersly, Josh Ryan, Kendall Layman, Jan Sievert, Paula Mutzig, Jason Helm, Charles Helm, Mike Helm, Kevin Helm, Whitney Cline, Lonna Gae Gault, LaDonna Dobbs, Lindsay Horton, Greg Wall, Chris Wall, Jennifer Wall and Cy Wall. She is also survived by fifty-four great grandchildren and twenty-eight great great grandchildren.
