He is survived by: his wife Brenda Cook Ackley; his children, Ladonna Coker (Scott), Leslie Holyfield, Chris Remington (Rachel), Tracy Remington and Angela Hackworth (Bill); and his sisters, Ruth Montgomery, Beverly Hite, Sheila Landelius (Robert), Easter Keith and Carol Bowling. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
