He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William and Eleanor Florine Ward (Vanderlip); his wife Connie Ward; and his brothers, Robert Ward, Bill Ward and Jim Ward.
He is survived by: his sons, Rodney Ward (LeAnn), Jackie Ward (Lisa) and Michael Ward (Renee); and his sister Litha Stilley. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren.
