He is survived by: his daughters, Yolanda Vault (Thomas), Christy Thomas and Ashley Thomas; and his siblings, Mattie Cooper (John), Ollie Akins (Henry), Jimmie Godfrey, Ruth North, Sammy Thomas (Betty) and Willie Thomas. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
