It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alva Larry Simmons of Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on May 17, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Percy and Hazel Rawls Simmons; his daughter Lauren Elizabeth Simmons; his stepmother Lillian Simmons; and his stepbrother Tommy Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Lilly Simmons; his children, William Daniel Simmons and Kathryn Simmons Usry; his grandsons, Corby Lee Usry IV "Cade" and Tate Kennedy Usry; and his siblings-in-law, Anita Lilly, Tom Lilly and Jeanine Lilly.
