She is survived by: her siblings, Henry Smith, Hattie Jones, Sarah Collier, Howard Conner, Ernest Conner and Ida Mae Cato; her husband Roy Lee Carter; her children, Joseph Conner (Joann) of Elmira, NY, Tanya Conner Oharo (Remy) of Albion, Mary Tate Campbell (Chris) of Rochester, NY and Shonda Tate of Albion, NY.; her stepchildren, Roy Carter Jr., Patrick Carter, Cynthia Libbett of Rochester, NY, Darlene Holmes and Anna Carter of Forest City; and her siblings, James Conner Jr., Sidney Conner, Leonard Conner of Rochester, NY., Sadie Redfield, Debra Walker and Willie Mural Conner of Rochester. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
