She was predeceased by: her son Dean Merriman; and her father John McAdoo. She is survived by: her husband Morris Mackey, Jr.; her daughter Nekita Flowers; her mother Alice Star; and her siblings, Ida Ealy, Rita Star, Kelly McAdoo and Mandy McAdoo. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, a nephew, a host of nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
