She was predeceased by : her parents, Lim A. Peery and Etta Winters Peery; her son Clifton Jr. (Kokey); and her sisters, Virginia, Etta Mae, Bertha Lee, Magnolia and Mattie Lee.

She is survived by : her children, Sharon Carson (Victor) and Roderick Walker (Linda); her daughter-in-law Jo-Annette Peyton; and her sisters, Pankie Johnson and Everlee Hayden. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
