Bessie Brown Sullivan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bessie Brown Sullivan of Little Rock, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Brown and Lottie Mae Moore Brown; her daughters, Beverly Richardson and Linda Chavis; her grandson Eric Chavis; and her siblings, Lawrence, Willie Jr., Bobby, Earnest, Johnny, Clayton Brown, Frankie Brown and Clydean Childs.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jeanell Chavis of Little Rock, AR and Lamont Chavis of Little Rock, AR.; her brother George E. Brown of Little Rock, AR.; and her niece Josephine Childs. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (608 Cashman Dr, Thornton, AR 71766).
