He was predeceased by: his parents, Chet Blackwood and Betty Boyd Blackwood. He is survived by: his wife Julie Blackwood; his daughters, Lauren Kelly (Tim), Melanie Boss (Joshua Bentley) and Sarah Bernstein (Brian); his grandchildren, Anabelle Yates, Lucas Bernstein and Max Bernstein; and his siblings, Mark Blackwood (Mimi) and Betsy Blackwood Willis.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Trapnall Hall (423 E Capitol Ave, Little Rock, AR 72202).
