She was predeceased by: her parents, Hyman Burta and Clara Weintraub Burta; her husband Irvin "Buddy" Schweig; her sister Rosalie Wexner; her nephew Alfred Wexner; and her sisters-in-law, Rosalie Forman, Mildred Golden, Ruth Itzkowitz, Selma Koenig, Eleanor Gross and Mary Lou Cohn.

She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Schweig, Lynn Schweig and Jan Schweig Coppersmith (Martin); and her granddaughters, Rachel and Lisa Coppersmith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Congregation Agudath Achim Little Rock, AR; The Greater Kansas City Section of National Council of Jewish Women, or the charity of one's choice.
