She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Brown and Sloanie Brown (Jackson); her husband Russell James; and her siblings, Bernice Young, Frankie Workman, Jimmy Brown and Margie Guthrie.
She is survived by: her brother James "Butch" Horton (Johanette) of Oklahoma; her children, Russell "Randy" James (Lydia) of Little Rock, Sherry Tackett of Marshall and Jeff James (Jennifer) of Maumelle; and her grandchildren, Tommy Stines (Heather), Christy Amunwa (Jason), Brandy Tackett, Clay James, Isabella James, Amelia James, Carley France (Ken), Dawson James (Sarah) and Amanda Mitts. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
