He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Norton Meeks; his siblings, David, Richard Meeks, Sarah Costello, Mary Jane Smitley and Elizabeth Benyo; his granddaughter Ryann Catherine; and his stepdaughter Catherine CeCeel Mathis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
