He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. David H. James, Sr. and May James (Rudd); and his siblings, Tom James and Ann Rudd Weldon. He is survived by: his significant other Ann James (Wrape); and his children, Mary James (Bruce Plantz), Paul James (Sarah), David James, John James (Kristie), Charles James (Laura), Theresa James, Robert James (Patty), Richard James, Martha James, Mark James (Dana) and Shannon Taylor (Brian).
A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Roller-Citizen Funeral Home (201 Pine St, West Memphis, AR 72301). Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (409 N Missouri St, West Memphis, AR 72301).
