He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his sister Janie Gazzola; his sister-in-law Twana Parson; his children, Tracey Welborn (Dayne) of Longview, Texas and David Parson, Jr. (Joe) of Austin, Texas.; his grandchildren, Brooks Welborn (Dani), Noah Parson and Miranda Welborn; his great grandchild Georgia Welborn; his niece Tiffany Reddick (Brian); and his nephew Britain White (Kim).
