David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his mother LaVerne Rummel. He is survived by: his father Charley Rummel; his wife Sheila Rummel; his children, David C. Rummel and Susan Rummel; his sister Jeanette Dreher (Gary); and his grandchildren, Jake Dorn, Jasmine Dorn and Christopher Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Archview Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials be given made in David's honor to Archview Baptist Church.
