With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis R Smith Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 22, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Dennis departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dennis. Though Dennis may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mimi. He is survived by: his sister Phyllis Smilack of Pennsylvania; his half-brother Dwayne Young of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Preston Smith, Nathan Luyet (Aidan), Trevor (FI Nejla), Mitchell Luyet (FI Isabelle) and Presley Smith; Deana Luyet (Thomas) of Wye Mountain and Glenn Smith (Alicia) of Little Rock.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the National Rifle Association (NRA) and/or the Arkansas State Police Association.
