She was predeceased by: her parents, John Calvert and Sealie Calvert (McLeod); her husband Martin Aronowitz (Marty); her granddaughter Jeanie Newell; and her daughter-in-law Dona Kay Aronowitz (Hix).

She is survived by: her child Marty; her caregivers, Carol, Misty, Stacy and Kanisha; her brother Wayne Calvert of Denton, TX; her children, Anne Newell (David) and Jake Newell (Jennifer); her grandsons, Joseph and John; her children, Emily Roth (Cory) of Hartsel and Stephen Newell; her grandchild Aiden of Colorado Springs; her son Andrew Newell (Sara) of Scottdale; her grandchildren, Alden and Margot; her sons, Steven Aronowitz (late Dona) of Ankeny and John Aronowitz (Mollie) of Rockville; her grandchildren, Leigh and Jack; her son Mark Aronowitz (Becca) of Richmond Hill; her grandchildren, Avery and Felix; her great grandchildren, Madeline, Eleanor, Vivian and Emmett; Lisa Selvadurai (Andrew) of Ankeny, Ava and Devin. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
