He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Watson and Pearl Watson; and his siblings, Annie Mae Johnson, Flora Mae Leach Brown, Willie Watson, Johnny Andrew Watson and Sylvester Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Watson; and his children, Kenneth Grimes, Keith Martin (Felicia), Danyelle Martin (Samuel) and Elmer Shawn Watson. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
