She was predeceased by: her parents, George Burton and Mattie Mae Burton; her stepfather Robert Payne; her husband Alonzo Scott; her sons, Emanuel Burton and Cleveland Murray; and her siblings, Otis Burton, Izeal Payne, Robert Payne, Arthur Payne, Luereather Bolden, Veola Bell and Gloria Stevenson.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvester Murray Sr. (Sarah) and Shelia Murray Henton of Little Rock, Arkansas; her sisters, Dollester Kaywood and Floristen Currie of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, De'Andre Henton of Little Rock, AR, De'Andrea Woodcock (Andre) of Cincinnati, Sylvester Murray Jr., Emanuel Murray of Texas and Angel Henton of Little Rock, Arkansas; and her siblings-in-law, David Bell Sr., Jerold Stevenson and Kim Payne. She is also survived by nieces, nephew, cousins, in-laws, bonus children and many friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Longley Baptist Church (9900 Geyer Springs Rd, Little Rock, AR 72209).
