He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hampton Burks and Mildred Louise Burks. He is survived by: his wife Pam Burks; his sister Barbara Burks Posey (Charles); and his pet Millie. He is also survived by ses several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smith Family Funeral Home (8801 Knoedl Ct, Little Rock, AR 72205). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery (1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72120).
