It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Howard of Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Brown and Everette Howard (Bud); his stepmother Margaret Howard; his stepsiblings, Billy Washum, Ollijean Dolan, Margie Henson, Everett Howard and Nancy Sleagle; and his grandparents, Jim and Goldie Holland.

He is survived by: his wife Holly; his children, Jamie, Dominique, Peter and Matthew; and his brother Eddie Ray Howard. He is also survived by two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to AETN (Arkansas Educational Television Network).

I will always remember his kind introduction to "modern art" to me and how he helped me struggle to complete a modern art painting. He was always kind and caring and his class was always a pleasure.
