He was predeceased by: his parents, Adril Harrod and Pearl Harrod; and his siblings, David Harrod, Barbara Ferrell and Jackie Shook.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred "Cookie" Harrod; his children, Steve Harrod (Tina), Greg Harrod (Kim), Johnny Harrod (Ann) and Kimberly Barnett (Mike); and his siblings, Lee Harrod, A. W. Harrod and Lynn Hughes. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
