He was predeceased by: his wife Dimples Craig Brown; his parents, Lawrence Brown, Sr. and Carrie Bell Johnson Brown; his brothers, Lawrence Brown, Jr. and Robert Louis Brown; and his grandmothers, Fronie Brown and Mary Varner Washington.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ebony Jackson, Brandi Clay, Sondra Craig and Terri Craig; his siblings, Carroll Brown, Gary Brown and Delores; and his friend Carolyn Bracey. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
