In loving memory of Joy Markham (Little Rock, Arkansas), born in Tyronza, Arkansas, who departed this world on July 8, 2025 at the age of 88. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joy leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Boots" Minor and Edith "Deaner" Minor; her husband Jerry Hovis Markham; and her siblings, Gene Minor, JoAnn Lehr and Jewell Minor.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry "Jay" Markham (Cheryl) and Julia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (13801 Chenal Pkwy, Little Rock, AR 72211). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Baptist Church (501 N Shackleford Rd, Little Rock, AR 72211).
