With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Jackson Hayden of Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on March 24, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, T. H. Jackson (Jackson) and Verna Maxine Murray Jackson; and her brother-in-law Tom Higgs. She is survived by: her children, Stanford Thurman and Heather Rebecca; her daughter-in-law Jan; her grandchildren, Saul, Alexa (Terry Katzer), William and Wyatt Katzer; her sister-in-law Clara Higgs; her brother T. H. "Buddy" Jackson; her sister-in-law Marilyn; her nephews, Trey (Cathy) and Jason Jackson (Meg); and her niece Melissa Joyce Jackson. She is also survived by several great nieces an nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Joyce's name to Habitat for Humanity or your local animal shelter.
