Lester Charles Hockaday Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Hockaday and James Hockaday. He is survived by: his wife Veronica (Ronnie); his children, Jamal (Marti) of Sherwood, AR, Julius of Fredrick, MD and Vonetta (Sean) of Jacksonville, AR.; his grandchildren, Darius Hockaday (Zain) of Rockville, MD, Jocelyn Hockaday of Philadelphia, PA and Gabriel Hockaday of Sherwood, AR.; and his siblings, Mark (Monique), Phillip (Patricia), Michael Hockaday, Shelly Hockaday of South Bend, IN and Sherry Caldwell (Malcom) of South Bend, IN.

A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home & Rest Hills Memorial Park (7724 Landers Rd, North Little Rock, AR 72117). A wake will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (1400 E 2nd St, North Little Rock, AR 72114).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to one of the following of your choosing: Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, The DAV, The Jacksonville Fraternal Order of Police, St. Augustine Catholic Church, NLR, Masonic Friendship Lodge #4 of Little Rock, Shriner's Hospital for Children.
