She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Fincher and Bill Fincher; her husband Jay Curtis; her brother Jimmy Fincher; and her son-in-law Colonel Stephen Tate.

She is survived by: her children, Becky Tate (Gene Shelby) and Gregg Curtis (Julie) of Little Rock; her grandchildren, Nathan Tate of New York, Mary Kathryn Tate (Shawn Brown), Cody Curtis of Little Rock, Keaton Curtis (Jordan) of Little Rock and Kristen Curtis of Greenville; and her great grandchildren, Scottie Kate Curtis and Colbie Claire Curtis.
