He is survived by: his parents, Johnny Carter and Lula Mae McIntosh Carter; his partner Christy Freeman; his daughter Adrienne Jackson; and his siblings, Betty Hubbard (Link), Sandra Domiceck, Gregory Carter (Rose) and Ricky Carter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
