He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard L. Scott Sr. and Florence E. McCullum; his siblings, Shirley Jones, Patricia Jones, Debra Washington, Sheila Guice, Frank McCullum, Richard L. Scott Jr. and Chester E. Scott; and his stepson James Rodger.
He is survived by : his children, Demetrius Scott (Harry), Monica Scott, Jazmine Scott, Jamarcus Williams, Raynesha Williams, Dominque Rodger, Michael Ray Scott Jr. and Myeshia Brooks; his stepmother Elinor Jackson; his siblings, Willie Washington (Margie), James Scott (Candy), Joann McClendon, Richard Cooper (Dorothy), Tanya Kenney (Johnny), Chandra Cooper, Deatra Shelby (William), Rachel Cooper, Reva Curtis (Steven) and Tangie Cooper; and his cousin Wade Cobbs, Jr.. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren.
