She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lee and Ruth Mullings Burns; and her siblings, Willie Lee Burns Jr., Sammie Don Burns and Patsy Louise Gossage.
She is survived by: her son Gary Don Burns (Sheila); her grandchildren, Jennifer Dotson (Dustin), Brandon Burns (Amanda), Mitchel and Madalyn Burns; and her sister Sharon Hyatt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
