“I met Bob after I was told by a VERY well-known surgeon to look for him when I moved to Little Rock. Little did I know he was easily the MOST learned vascular surgeons I have ever known. He not only remembered all historical literature, AND devoured the latest and greatest published online-only, he ALSO attended the marathonic 10hrs/day x 5 day Veith conference always on the front row- every year! Bob was a superb asset to the UAMS training program and I will miss a friend+inspirational surgeon”

“Bob was one of my surgical mentors . He became a trusted source of help for difficult or puzzling cases and never said "no" to a referral, no matter how difficult, and he did them all better than anyone else. He was the premier vascular surgeon in Arkansas, and one of the best in the South. I'm thankful for his teaching, his support and for his excellent work on me when I needed it.
