He is survived by: his wife Helena Akers (Ervin) of Little Rock; his son Paul Akers (Lori) of Bryant, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Benton Akers of Bryant, Arkansas, Macie Barnes (Ben) of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Mary Morton of Charlotte; his great grandchildren, Marley and Maxine Morton; and his sisters-in-law, Sherry Phillips (Drew) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Judy Akers of Benton and Peggy Akers of Hamburg, Arkansas. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
