He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas Edwards and Dorothy Flakes; and his brother Larry Flakes. He is survived by: his children, Roni Flakes and Dallas Flakes; his grandchildren, Kailynn Garis, Amani Foster, Jaice Foster, Dkofi Foster and Roni Foster; and his sisters, Jackie Flakes and Margaree Nelson (Jimmy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home (910 Walnut St, Conway, AR 72032). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church (3849 US-64, Menifee, AR 72127).
