She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxwell Galt and Christine Galt; her sister Christie Porter; and her husband John. She is survived by: her children, Michael Dawson (Stephanie), Kyle Echols (Angela) and Beth Echols (Scott); her grandchildren, Gabe Echols, Justin Echols, Matthew Echols, Aidan Echols-Joyce, Sophia Echols-Joyce and Max Echols; and her sibling's children, Meredith Echols Bell, Todd Porter, Chris Echols, Kevin Jones and Scott Jones.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Margaret's Episcopal Church.
