He is survived by: his siblings, James F. Owens, Donna Heffington, Barbara Arquilla (Larry) and Debra Skene (Rod); his wife Zelma Owens; and his son Loren Owens. He is also survived by four nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews.
