She was predeceased by: her parents, Squire Watkins and Louise Watkins; and her siblings, Squire Watkins Jr., James Charles Watkins, Robert "Bobby" Watkins, Siesel Jones and Dorothy Gipson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Rose Watkins Reed of Plano, Texas and Herbert Watkins; and her nephews, Mayo Johnson and Lance Watkins of Little Rock, Arkansas.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She spent countless hours volunteering at the Little Rock Veterans Hospital, AR Food Bank, her local churches and also donating financially to charities such as the United Negro College Fund (UNCF).
