She was predeceased by: her parents, Ganard J. Ashley and Lessie V. Spann; her siblings, Delton Ashley, Willie Ashley Donald Ashley, Glendale Ashley and Leatha Mae Ashley; and her son James Dean Riggin.
She is survived by: her daughter Anita Jean Hensley (Jeremy); her grandsons, Joshua D. Brown and Justin D. Brown; her nieces, Jo Ashley and Candy Eddison; and her friend Jan Hannah. She is also survived by nieces and nephews she loved.
