He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Ingram Jr. of Eatonton and Frances Carley Swygert of LaGrange, Georgia.; his wife Mary Lynn Philips (Powell) of Little Rock; his children, Leigh Anne Lord, Susan Elizabeth Philips and Christopher Eric Nielson; his granddaughter Catherine Lord; his sisters, Frances Anne Copeland, Claudia Jones and Roberta Gilles; his brother-in-law Gordon Gilles; and his nephew Scott O'Brien.
In lieu of other remembrances, he asked that donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans or other veteran service organizations.
