He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale E. Wells and Beverly L. Sears Wells; and his siblings, Scotty Wells and Sharon Misho. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Wells (Tim Orellano) and Lance Wells (Victoria Juarez); his grandchildren, Ariel Sexton, Lillian Sexton, Andrina Robinson, Brianna (Hunter Brantley) and Justin (Kendra Robinson); his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Liam, Bradley, Vincent, Mason, Elijah and Ambrya; his brother Ricky; his sister-in-law Nelia Wells; his nephews, River (Mercy Wells) and Jason Misho; his niece Lisa; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Misho and Jennifer Wells. He is also survived by two great-nieces and two great- nephews.
