He is survived by: his wife Rose Anne Phillips Helms; his daughter Scarlette; his son-in-law JD Jones; his grandchildren, Autumn Jester (Mason) of Lockesburg and Kinleigh Helms of De Queen; his great grandchildren, Bentley Jester and Ryleigh Jester of Lockesburg; and his siblings, Patsy Skelton of DeKalb, Texas, Billy Joe Helms of Ashdown and Dwight Helms of Texarkana, Arkansas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
