He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Slaton and Alise Baber Slaton. He is survived by: his wife Sharron Slaton; his daughters, Sherry Lynn Myrick (Paul), Kay Malette Chandler (Eugene) and Carlee Shelton; his siblings, Frankie Slaton and Dudley Slaton; his grandchildren, Jesse Chandler, David Ray Chandler, Derek Chandler and Marlee Carver; and his great grandchildren, Ina Grace Chandler, Ian Chandler and Colton Chandler. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many friends.
