He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Monroe and Bessie Allene Dixson Thornton; and his wife Joan Thornton. He is survived by : his pets, Lilly and Catfish; his children, Tony Ray Thornton (Linda) of De Queen, Todd Dee Thornton of Lockesburg and Carolyn Ann McIninch (Randy) of Lockesburg; his grandchildren, Taylor, Autumn and Cassie; his great grandchildren, Erin, Blakely, Lyric, Zuri, Tate, Case, Heaven, Michael and Julian; his sisters, Toni (Gaylon Alexander), Cheryl (Shelby Elliot) and Lisa (David Jones); and his close friends, J. C. Priest of Lockesburg, Mike and Brenda Reid of Nashville. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
